DAY 1 – Santa Marta | Indigenous Community

You will depart from Santa Marta at 8:30 am in a transfer of approximately 40 minutes to the Calabazo sector, where the hike will begin and you will meet your local indigenous guide.

You'll begin a 5 km uphill hike through rainforest trails. During the trek, you'll stop at La Cima, where you can meet a local family of artisans who work with clay and mud using traditional techniques.

You will continue your journey until you reach the indigenous community of Tayku, a Kogui village where you will experience the heart of the journey. There you will learn about their worldview, their culture, and their relationship with nature, sharing an authentic moment with the community.

After the visit, you will enjoy a traditional lunch within the community.

Finally, you will begin your return journey, arriving at the end of the tour around 3:00 pm
