DAY 1: Departure from Santa Marta

Your adventure begins between 8:30 am and 9:00 am with a 40-minute transfer from Santa Marta to Agua Viva, where you will receive instructions from your guide. From there, you will start a 7-kilometer hike (approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes) along nature-filled trails until reaching the fascinating archaeological site of La Piedra Donama, where you can admire the mysterious petroglyphs carved by the Tayrona culture.

After this connection with the past, you will continue to the village of San Isidro de la Sierra to enjoy a comforting traditional lunch and a refreshing swim in the local river.

After a well-deserved rest, at 2:00 pm you will resume the trek with a 6-kilometer walk (approximately 2 hours) that will take you to a cozy countryside farm, where you will spend the night. There, you will be served dinner and stay in a bed or camping with mosquito nets, depending on availability.
DAY 2 – Trek to Bunkuany

After a comforting breakfast, you will begin an exciting and challenging 14-kilometer hike (approximately 5 hours), taking you through natural landscapes ranging from lush countryside farms to the impressive stone terraces of Bunkuany Tayrona, where your guide will reveal the secrets of this fascinating archaeological site.

Lunch at the Bunkuany community restaurant will give you the energy to continue toward the organic farms of Mr. Ziro, who will share his ancestral knowledge of sustainable agriculture while you taste freshly harvested fruits.
